I  want to base my album artwork over light painting as light painting is considered to be fairly modern and it will reflect the modern-likeness of the music that would be in my album, I also like the contrast between the light and dark theme of the image. Also the bright purple and bright blue reflect a lot of other modern day artworks. However I have researched and not yet seen any modern day album covers that involve light painting as the cover therefore it will also add some uniqueness to my album. Also I think it  would be enjoyable and valuable to experiment with such a genre of photography. There are a lot of fan-made artworks that involve light painting however they are not used in the professional industry today. My idea will be a blend between the two pictures in this blog. The man and the use of the painted wings around him will be used but with am urban background like in the second picture to reference the pride and respect the artist has in where they and their music comes from.
